MPI(MKA) ?? Maintenance for Freight Victoria

Rumours are rife that Motive Power Industries of the US(formerly Morrison
Knudson) have the won contract over Goninan for the maintenance of Freight
Victoria Locomotives, and may have in fact bought them from Freight Victoria
and will lease them back to FV on a power by the hour basis.  Can anyone
confirm or deny this??

Does this at last put an end to the rumours about GEs for Victoria?? Will
the new rumour be MKs for FV??
