I did not give an emphatic NO to the Y class VC question as I have been told,
(but I seriously doubt it) that a Y was fitted with a VC as a test to run
Werribee passes. Every Y I worked on (all 75) I searched for evidence of a
former VC installation but never found anything.

It's always best, unless you are 100% sure, to say, AFAIK or something like
that.
