Ski traffic is seasonal and there is a receeding snowline anyway. It's
being considered for freight only, specifically log traffic from Bombala
(guess who is behind that one).

Having said that, ARHS(ACT) would be in a very good position to run
weekend ski trains during winter. A "Canberra Monaro Xplorer" service
would be nice, but I can't see Countrylink being very interested in it.
Xplorers are expensive.
