Sale - Bairnsdale: needs maintenance, bridge over Avon River at
Stratford has been thumped by two floods and not properly repaired -
limited to T or lighter, but S class ok (?). Line could be on FV's
repair list as they have announced timer ex Bairnsdale.
Cranbourne - Nyora: bridges near KooWeeRup need work: probably
cheapest to be Armcoed and buried: whole line needs maintenance (could
be on FV's repair list a/c sand and general freight, so said Graham
Claytor during the tendering process).
Heywood - Mount Gambier: needs regauging, needs traffic
Ballarat - Ararat (oh no, not this line again!): needs traffic, trees
chopped down within the tracks.
