Travel to Homebush stadium

One of my friends is going to the football at Homebush on Saturday and wants
to find out the best way to get there from Wollongong. He doesn't want to
catch the train from W'gong and he doesn't want to drive to Homebush. Where
would be the best station to drive to where there is relatively secure
parking and he can then get a train direct to Homebush?
