To be fair David, the email received by Robin was hardly personal -
more like crank mail, which is a step lower than spam in my book. I found
it interesting to see what sort of response you can get from some
mindless zealot to a relatively innocent appeal to try and save a bush
railway station.
The guy probably has no concept of Australia, and I bet he'd be
surprised if he ever visited Peterborough! (no offence meant, Robin).
This demonstrates the best and worst of the Net - on the one
hand freedom of speech, but your message can be read (and misconstrued)
anywhere on the planet by anyone. Sobering thought...
