No, not those - they were like a small, 3-light railway colour light signal,
the lights being red (stop), white (proceed to branch) and green (proceed on
main line). They were physically separate from the normal traffic signals.
They were manually operated, but interlocked with the points and (possibly)
with the normal traffic signals. Last known locations were - Swanston St at
Franklin St and Batman Ave approaching the scissors crossover.

(BTW, who's "scoring" the scissors?
