Re: Rail Adventures Around Australia

Any neutral observer will also notice that all Bill has never been able to
support any of his criticisms with any specifics. He makes accusations and
then claims that he does not have to justify them. All I said was name one
locomotive which has significantly deteriorated. If Bill beleives that they
are all rusty hulks, it should be an easy challenge.

<<If you are not a DRSM member you can't get close enough to any of the
locomotive to tell what the current condition really is>>

Are you saying you dont know what condition the locomotives are in? Then you
are just shooting bull. If you want to find out, ask. If you want to engage
in uninformed sniping, then you should expect to be challenged.

<<then you'd also have to be 100% correct about what the condition it was is
when DRSM received it>>

And surely that's reasonable. A locomotive taken out of a playground (eg
2535) because it had become delapidated and dangerous must be judged against
that background. Bill may have prefered to see 2535 scrapped, but it wasn't
his money that was spent saving it.
