Steam every day down here in Mexico for next 19 days

Tony Marsden just pointed this out to me.......

Do you realise us Victorians are to be treated to an R class or two R
class running each day for the next 19 days?  Eat your hearts out
gringos<g!>.

R711 returns from Ballarat tomorrow, runs the Warrnambool Pass there
and back on Saturday, R711 again Sun evening to be in position for the
Warrnambool - Terang shuttles Monday - Friday next week.  
R711 returns to Melbourne Friday, runs the Warrnambool pass there and
back Sat 3 July.  

Sunday 4 July R711 performs for the ARHS with a 115km/h tour to St
Arnaud, Mon 5  - Fri 9 July sees R class on Geelong passes (school
holidays), then Sat 10 July R711 to Warrnambool.

Just looked at the calendar....... yep, 1999.

Not bad, not bad at all.

And the weather..... well perfect.... bright, clear skies, cool
mornings, no wind, perfect for steam....of course.
