Can't imagine these machine just idling around a yard when it was an
inspiring sight to see them in action on the mainline. I would also have
thought that V/Line (then) may have proposed to upgrade them with Super
series to make them match the G's 81's & BL's.They would have worked
marvellously. It's a pity they were not allowed to be built later to match
the technology but I can bet they would not have stuck to its unique design.
