What you may not have known--

Following a recent pedestrian fatality locals are agitating for automatic
pedestrian gates. An extensive upgrade of Sydenham Road to 4 lanes/divided and
rebuild of station are proposed for next year. Site is 25km from Melb.
and 6km beyond existing electric service terminating at St. Albans.
