I've got a VUEGO 620ST - it has a transparency adapter in the lid. The
contrast is a major problem with dark slides. If the contrast is ok then it
doesn't do to bad a job producing a picture for display on the screen. It's
a good flat bed scanner with SCSI. Can't remember the actual price but it
was a little over $300 australian. ACER have a home page with all the
details.

I looked at dedicated transparency scanners and decided they were too
expensive for my budget. If you want to check what I mean about contrast and
quality have a look at the jpgs in the following location

anything beginning with S.... was originally on a 35mm transparency and
scanner with the 620ST.
