Bush clearing and track repair commenced immeadiately after the sales
contract was signed on 11 May (see previous posting). The Work for the Dole
scheme is in addition to the trackwork being undertaken by GMR volunteers.
Trikes are only being used for track restoration at this stage. The track
has to be brought up to a safe standard before public services can commence.
