Latest tram news:

1.  A1.246 was spotted on Thurs (03-06-1999) in a new livery, advertising
Queensland.  From memory the slogan "Where else but Queensland" was on the
front.  It is mainly light blue in color.  This tram was last seen
advertising One.Tel.   More info can be found on Advertising trams at:

2.  B2.2084 is now allocated to Southbank Depot. - This tram still has the
wording "METROPOLITAN TRANSIT" below it's PTC double arrow logo on one
side only.

3. **RUMOUR ONLY** (I will be checking this one today or tomorrow), a Z1
was seen operating on Essendon Depot's route 55.

4. As most people probably already know, the new Route 70 will be opened
by Robin Cooper tomorrow at 12 noon.  Much of the overhead has already
disappeared from the disused Batman Ave section.
