Near miss at Maitland

This morning's radio and tv news made mention of a near miss at Maitland.
Supposedly a Freightcorp train ran a red and came within 300 metres of
having a head-on with a Cityrail service with 20 passengers on board. I
don't know when it happened but I was in Maitland till 10:30 yesterday
morning and hadn't heard about it up till then.
