MR CITYRAIL RETURNS

I recently noticed that Mr Cityrail's announcements had slowed down a 
little with the new computer system and some of the staions has lost the 
cute little chimes at the start of the announcement.

originally he used the word only in a lot of announcements especially at 
edgecliff i recall the tain on platform 2 goes to Bondi Junction Only!

there is a great website that has some of the City Rail announcements that 
you can listen to its http://members.xoom.com/railwavs/

if you looking for the woggy touch, in Melbourne you still can here the 
occasional: the traina on plataform 4 goes to flindaers streets via the 
Citya Loopa....

for a while melbourne actally did have Mr City Rails voice, he use to 
announce spencer st, spencer st, Flinders St Train running Via the City 
Circle, he dissapeared around 96 and was replaced with silence...
