The trackwork for the new Flinders/Spencer intersection is being assembled whole
on railway land at the back of the viaduct.  It seems that it will be lifted
into place soon in one piece (presumably under the viaduct - that would be worth
seeing).  As expected it is a double track crossover with a double track North
to East curve.  You can get a good view of the trackwork in its temporary
location from trains passing over the viaduct.
