Sad news

I met Dusty a few times in Sydney about 1969. I must say he whetted my
appetite for South African Steam and other delights. His books are
generally well written except for where he gets carried away about
diesels or the parochialism of Australian railfans.

I wonder if there are any remaining steam whistles in Springs to sound
in memory
