Re: Fatal in Spencer Street



Would this accident have been fatal if lifeguards of some description were
fitted to the tram?

Looking under the modern Melbourne tram, death is certain unless the driver
can stop within a metre or so of hitting someone.

Did 1041 or the original Z cars have traditional lifeguards?
