A Current Affair 13/7

On A Current Affair last night (13/7) there was a story on a triathlete, I
think his name was Beven,  and it looked like it was somewhere in FNQ as
there were canefields and tramways and they talked about crocodiles in the
water. Anyway one part showed him on a training run down the middle of what
appeared to be a 3'6" line. The track was shiny and there was a 70 speed
board beside it. Did anyone else see it and know where it was?
