Tried this last Thursday (1999-07-08). Good except for unexplained 20 minute
signal check between Little River and Lara. This resulted in us missing the
1105h bus to Drysdale for the BPR - had to taxi out.
One question though - is there much point in having a steam engine hauling
the train when none of the carriage windows open??? (Was an H-set.) Agreed,
the non-rail fans don't want the soot and smoke blowing in, but surely at
least one non-A/C car would be possible??
