Late running Brisbane XPT's

Does anyone know why the Brisbane XPT's have been running so late over
the past month or so?

To illustrate here are some recent examples of it passing Salisbury, Qld:

Sat 10 July XPT from Sydney 45" late. Returned to Sydney 15" late.
Fri 9 July XPT from Sydney late. Returned approx 90" late.
Sat 3 July XPT from Sydney 45" late.
Thu 1 July XPT from Sydney 65" late. Returned to Sydney 20" late.
Mon 28 June XPT from Sydney 62" late. Returned to Sydney 35" late.
Sun 27 June XPT from Sydney 80" late. Returned to Sydney 50" late.
Mon 21 June XPT from Sydney 70" late.
Sun 20 June XPT from Sydney 180" (3hrs) late. Returned to Sydney 150" late.

I was at Sydney Terminal station last Thursday 8 July and at 4.24pm (the
time the train should have been departing) it still hadn't arrived from
the Meeks Rd XPT depot.

Is it because the overnight XPT from Melbourne is arriving late which
then doesn't leave enough time for cleaning and servicing at Meeks Rd XPT
depot?

The XPT arriving Sydney from Melbourne on Friday morning (9 July) was
over an hour late and the Murwillumbah train wasn't held for connecting
passengers.

Does anyone know what is the cause of all this late running? Is it
breakdowns?, track delays?, late crossings?, clagged out XPT's?.........
