Today July edition of 'Steamrail News' landed, headline article was that SRV
have signed an EBA with the Rail Tram & Bus Union to use it's own crews,
drawing on current FV, VLP, Hillside, Bayside & NRC crews. AFAIK this will
be similar to the arrangement used in NSW for 3801 Ltd.
Another point is that FV will grant 'gunzel' groups 30,000 train kms free
access per annum, as a condition of the lease for the country track off the
Director of Public Transport. Bayside & Hillside are apparently obliged to
do likewise.
No mention was made of the recent 'correspondance' received by SRV members,
but S.N.probably went to press after the 'correspondance' arrived.
