<start nitpick>
Never was a station called Rookwood Cemetery officially.....
Stations at the dead center of Sydney.....
Rookwood (main suburban line) opened as Necropolis prior to 1887
Changed to Rookwood 1/1/1914
Closed 1967
Stations on the Rookwood Cemetery Branch.....
Opened as Haslem's Creek Cemetery 1/4/1867
changed to Necroplois prior to 1872
changed to Mortuary General Cemetery 16/7/1897
changed to Cemetery Station No 1 15/6/1908
closed 29/12/1948
Roman Catholic Platform opened 31/12/1901
changed to Cemetery Station No 2 15/6/1908
closed 29/12/1948
Mortuary opened 26/5/1897
changed to Mortuary Terminus 26/7/1897
changed to Cemetery Station No. 3 15/6/1908
closed 29/12/1948
<end nitpick>
But I bet they were all known simply as Rookwood Cemetery to all concerned.
In these PC times, can you imagine officialdom even contemplating a name
like "Roman Catholic Platform"?
