A few questions ...

How far beyond Rosewood? And, what timescale? The Cooper
Government announced electrification to Toowoomba (and
Townsville) in 1989, and nothing happened, and the Goss
Government made repeated noises about continuing electrification
of the line beyond Ipswich, but only the 20Km to Rosewood
actually happened in 1993.

I can't see much point in electrifying just to Grandchester,
there's not much there ... Laidley or Gatton would make
more sense. And what about the section of single track and
poor alighment over the Little Liverpool Range, and of course
the lack of clearance through the tunnels?

Any information would be greatly appreciated - it would be
great to see trains beyond Rosewood again.
