Ge s do it better than Alco s

qualify that to read ' naturally aspirated ' GM s are noisier. Any GM with a
turbo ( Westrail L class and V/Line/ NR C class excluded) cannot be classed
as having a typical GM chant. As for the SRANSW 82 & 90 Class and Westrail Q
& S Class all I can say is ' oh for the good old days when double headed VR
S class would be in notch 8 to get up the pinch out of Ballarat station on a
heavy Adelaide bound Jet- it would bring tears to the eye of a bag needle!'
