IIRC, it's about 245km/h. Set in South Africa a few years ago.

But that could be broken in the next few years. There is a narrow gauge
Shinkansen being designed by JR East which will have an operational top
speed of 200km/h, but will probably reach at least 250 in tests.

Is the GC line suitable for a 200km/h Shinkansen style service?
