Rubbish by Rail

WIN TV Canberra News last night carried a story about Collex's proposal to
transfer rubbish from Sydney by rail to the former Woodlawn mine site (it's
a huge hole) near Tarago.  Pam Allen, NSW Environment Minister advised that
public comment was invited until some time late next month.
There may not be as much opposition as the abortive attempt to move logs
from Bungendore, the sidings at Tarago are a little further away from the
village, and there will possibly be a few jobs in it for the locals for
truck drivers and plant operators.
