A result of the late arrival of the IP on Wednesday morning, due to the
level crossing crash, was the filling of Keswick terminal,
Platform 1 held the late leaving IP bound for Sydney,
Platform 2 saw the arrival of the Ghan from the Alice bound for
Melbourne, and Platform 3 the arrival of the Overland from Melbourne.
GSR had a busy time shuffling locos, cars and motorails.
Also in the western dock were the "new" silver Overland cars with their
new Kookaburra motif on the sides.
