The Govt and Airlink today announced that the line to the Brisbane
airport will be constructed. As most know, it will leave the current
line at Toombul. There will be a half hour service link to the Robina
with a travel time of 72 minutes. There will also be a half hour link
with Central. It is expected to be completed in 2001. Expected annual
patronage is 4 million passengers.
