Townsville was bombed.!!
The North Australia Railway was the only government
railway in Australia which suffered extensive damage
due to Japanese air attacks during WW2. That is fact,
please do some more research, instead of "remember
reading recently". Do you think QR would let people
forget that they were bombed.? ......... ask them.!
