No idea. The WONs I saw at the time said that certain V/Line locos were
either on long term or short term lease to NR. 58 locomotives, 132 trams
and 19 N sets were sold to a Japanese leasing company by the Cain
government (IIRC, some of the Gs and most of the B2s were sold before
delivery), and have been leased back ever since. It made the balance sheet
look good for the first year or so......
