Political realities are that 5112 can not come east of the Blue
Mountains - i.e, east of Lithgow. Not to Valley Heights (alresdy
rejected) and certainly not to Eveleigh. 3801 Limited has more than
enough on its plate already, anyhow!!!
There is one group who has pit a realsitic proposal forward, has the
expertise and is currently seeking Government funding.
But it will also need to convince Bathurst City Councils that the loco
should not be re-stuffed.
