I wouldn't think so. Firstly what your describing was for purely carrier
aircraft operation and would not be suitable for long distances. Secondly
why would the RAAF want to 'waste' the F-111Gs in the tanker role when
these are the very same aircraft that would be out attacking the enemy
(whoever it might be).

This suggesting would perhaps be suitable for a long range raid but not to
support the tanking needs of the RAAF which definately requires tankers
that can be on station for a decent period of time and carry a decent load
of fuel to refuel many different types of aircraft both large and small.
