Re: Train derailment at Waverton?

Had a look this evening around 8:30pm. Rerailing operations were just getting
underway. 3 carriages have all bogies off the track, the last carriage has one
bogie off.

8170 arrived at around 8:50pm from Hornsby. It was going to shunt onto the siding
to drag the carriages back on to the track later tonight. Overheard the guys in
charge of the rescue operation that another loco is scheduled to arrive at
Lindfield at 2:00am to assist in the recovery.
