Actually ...taking the line even further to Baxter may make even more sense...only another 3k!! (hey whats money!!)
Taking the line to Baxter though opens a whole world of possibilities (in our dreams at least)
Utilising the Morninton Line becomes almost feasible. Heres how..
Run Two car railcars from Stony point to a new terminal , land side of Hwy at Mornington (well near!!) wouuld have been
nice to go right in ..but maybe opportunity for commercial development to tie-in and help pay for new station??  Trains
run back and forthe between Stoney Point and Mornington ..doing a swithback at Baxter...new connections to Sparks..and
the Mornington Peninsula really comes alive ....new stabling provided at BAxter maybe??

maybe not the worlds most sane idea...but I like it!!
