On Backberner last night on the ABC one of the segments featured an
interview with someone from the Victorian Government. The gist was they were
going to save money but not having elections as the opinion polls showed
they would get elected anyway. When asked "but what about democracy?" the
Government person replied "What's that?". When it was explained to them the
reply was "No, Victoria is a Jeffocracy".
Sorry for getting off-topic a bit but I thought it was amusing.
