Re: Olympic Park (NSW) Passengers taken for a ride

The news item states:

"Despite the extra fare, CityRail says it has lost $250,000 on each test
event."

You'd think a service like this would help to subsidise the regular services
that lose money. Why can't the organisations staging the events pay towards
the cost of providing the transport that gets their patrons to olympic park,
instead of the taxpayers.

There are plenty of things CityRail could use that $250,000 for (including
cleaning up the trains)!
