In this weeks Weekly Times Aug 25 front page article back on track. Just
briefly, Freight Victoria wants to re open a number of abandoned rail lines
those being.
The broad gauge line from Heywood to Millicent, the Cranbourne to Leongatha
line,Tocumwal to Narrandera, and also Sale to Bairnsdale section. He
indicated that at least a $20 million injection would be required to reopen
the lines.
