The land has already been sold, for a sum which is hotly discussed in our
mealrooms from time to time. The depot was closed at about 5 years ago,
maybe one or two more.

Punchbowl Car Sidings won't be coming back - the land is too valuable since
it's quite close to Homebush Bay - and so I expect that once it's cleared
and cleaned enough to be declared safe for building residential accomodation
(sometime in the next few months) there will be a rapid building spree of
multi-level medium-density living space there in time to get filled up for
the Olympic Games next year (which are now only 13 months away).

Regards,

Craig.
