Yes, but them I'm old enough to remember them being worked properly. The clocks
fell in to disrepair some years ago after the requirement for the driver to
operate them was cancelled. Later on the remaining clocks were repaired and got
working so that they could indicate the time to passing trams etc. As others
have suggested there are still a number around.
