More about Privatisation from Britain

According to the London Daily Telegraph, Britain's train delays and
cancellations have been worse than reported - the central Rail Users
Consultative Committee says that the official figures are well down on the
actual delays experienced by commuters. One area of concern is the use of
''void days" - where train operators have a bad day and more than 30% of
their services are delayed, these days don't need to be included in the
figures.

Also the same paper has a little article about a "pensioner" radio station
on the Isle of Wight which bans broadcasting any music recorded after 1959,
playing crackly old 78 records transferred to disc, crackles and pops
included. Maybe they could contract to Cityrail to deter the potential
youthful miscreants hanging about suburban stations.
