Had a 4 day weekend (gotta love it when the roster goes your way!) so I
don't know much about last week, but the Y did come to Geelong on Monday
(arrived at 1330), then went to Ballarat (dep Geelong at 1158) on Tuesday,
hauling WT-GY-WAL.

I'm told the next morning's up failed at the same spot. Something else
failed at Geelong yesterday (Tues) morning, resultant delays meant an up
pass was departing when I arrived on 8207 at 9:45.

Off topic - the spotty NR's have been in Melbourne of late, one in the
middle of a 3-NR lash-up on Monday morning (Newport at 0905), and another
sighting as second unit on an 2 unit combo this morning (Wed).

Wed morning's Overland was 55 mins late behind BL33, last Tuesday 10/8 it
was VERY late (safeworking problems on the ASW I believe), it was at Manor
Loop stationary in no. 1 road behind an NR at 0923, we (8207) stopped a
North Shore to pick up connecting passengers.

Some days you win, some days you lose.......

Cheers,
CH.
