Hubert,  there was much resistance from community transport groups.
Yet, the political side was the costing for the chubb security guards,
some $23million (I think about this much it could be more) out of the
transport budget, which was apparently to be drawn from the treasury.

I agree what of the services, we still freeze our butts on those old
carriages and theres plenty of unattended stations and facilities.
