Does anyone know if there is a defined timetable for the "stone" traffic that
has started to operate from White Bay / Rozelle to St Mary's ??
It would appear that it does seem to operate at all hours, though it is quite
noticeable that there is often locomotives (sometimes with a train, at other
times "Light") in the Sidings at the St Mary's end late in the afternoon - I
normally pass through the area heading west at around 1740.
I heard St Mary's talking to D115 this morning (around 1045/1100), and the gist
of the conversation was that the units would be put in the Siding when the next
up went through. It was further indicated that there had been a request that
they go right down to the unloader.
I have also noticed that there was what appears to be a rake of wagons right
down the back in the area that had been previously used to "cut up"
locomotives.
