The grain shunt usually operates 5 days per week but i think it missed 2
or 3 times last week.
It is supposed to be out by 1830 and in after 0630 so as to not upset
the neighbors in Bellair Street. It will be interesting to see how a
private operator deals with stroppy residents (NIMBYs) who all have
forgotten that the railway has existed for many years before they moved
in. I imagine FV will tell them to get lost. It is the same NIMBYs who
are objecting to the proposed airport line along the Broadmeadows
alignment. They are so short sighted they cant see the benefits...better
that a toll road!!
Please note that although I live in Kensington, I do not live in Bellair
Street.
