It appears that Uncie Carl was thinking more along the lines of the *end* of
2000.

On the subject of our beloved Roads Minister, has any work been done on the
Parramatta to Liverpool bus road? It has been a while since I was last out
that way, but the promise to have buses using the first section of the
transitway by the end of 1998 has proven to be false.
