response a) I was describing signals on the NESG.

response b) This is consistant with the signal ex the lowest numbered
track (in this case 4 road) having no prefix, the signal with the next
track (in this case 5 road) having a U prefix and the next track (in
this case 6 road) having a V prefix.

My guess is that a signal out of the next track would have a 'W'
prefix. Can anyone confirm or deny?
