Philippine railways

I visited the Philippines and had a chance to ride on the amazing and 
ramshackle Philippine National Railway in 1998. If you want to know what 
riding on the North Australia Railway or other pioneering lines was 
like, this is the railway for you.

I'd like to find further info on the system- wondering if it can be 
modelled, even.

I'm aware of Brad Peadon's new website.  Does anyone know of any other 
sites (I can't find any others) or books on the system ?
