That is absolutely UNTRUE - I have it direct from Ed Burkhardt, that Austrac
are buying the class 31, 33 and 37 from English Welsh and Scottish
Railwaysthat are being made redundant by the current deliveries of Class 66,
and are attempting to purchase the Class 47's that will be released by EWS's
Class 67 and Virgins Class 68's.
